Bombs and Ammunitions Recovered From Abu Qaqa's House By JTF

From what we heard yesterday, the JTF yesterday killed Boko Haram's spokesman Abu Qaqa and today, his house was raided. Giving an insight into the latest operation on the “heavily wired IED’s hideout” Lt Ikediche Iweha revealed that the heavy weaponry, bombs, media related hard and soft-ware , two  AK 47 rifles, two Pump Action Rifles, one Berretta Rifle, one Smoke Discharger, 433 rounds of 7.62 Nato ammunition, 80 rounds of 7.62 special ammunition, two AK 47 magazines, 36 Prepared IEDs, 13 Laptops, two motorcycles.

Other items recovered includes, four printers, one photocopier, one 33 slots Zenith disc writer, one TG 3900Ez generator set, religious books,  large quantity of CD plates, two decoders, two satellite dish, one 21” television set, one DVD player, 2 bags of Urea fertilizer, one Elite dry cell 12v battery, one blue gate UPS, one stabilizer, 10 hand held Motorola radios and 5 battery chargers.

Boko Haram's Spokesman Abu Qaqa Killed, What Next?

Boko Haram's spokes man Abu Qaqa has been killed, he was killed some minutes ago, and some top boko haram leaders were also arrested. Heard they stormed their hideout about an hour ago.

UPDATE: Men of the Joint Task Force in Kano confirmed the arrest of top members of the Islamic sect but have been reluctant to give the identities of those arrested. Reports say the apparent reluctance stems from the embarrassment caused the government in previous arrests when the government failed to properly identify suspects before making the arrests public. There are however unconfirmed reports coming from the foreign media indicating that the Boko Haram spokesman might have been killed in the said raid.

According to the report, a top officer of the JTF spoke to the press saying that two militant suspects were arrested, one of whom later died but his identity remains unknown. A source privy to the incident said a car which conveyed the militant leaders was stopped and one of them tried to escape and was shot. He later died in the hospital. The source said some of the people in the car have informed the military that the person shot was Abu Qaqa, the man who signs emails sent to the media on behalf of the group. The sect is yet to confirm or refute these claims.
