Comedian, Basketmouth’s Reaction To Jonathan Style Of Government And Amnesty
Its so annoying at some the senseless sorry axx package dealt Nigerians in the name of government. Governance in Nigeria has been reduced to setting up of Committees, another committee and another, yet we hardly see tangible results.

We observed that many Nigerians, apart from those who are eating from the government, are already complaining about this trend.

Below is how comedian Basketmouth related the Boston bombing incident that happened in the United States of America and the way President Goodluck Jonathan is ‘romancing’ Boko Haram:

Four days after the Boston Marathon Bombings, the FBI and state Police in Boston have apprehended the 2 bombers; One dead and one seriously injured.

Just 4 days? That’s unfair now!, they didn’t set up a 26-man Committee? American Government didn’t propose Amnesty/retrain those bombers by sending them abroad? What happened to giving them and their backers state pardon? Haba! How many people did they even kill sef?

Why did Obama go to visit the victims’ family without wearing a bullet proof vest? This Obama sef, he does not know how to govern or deal with terrorists! Pampering them is the way to go not “getting them”.

He did not even fix monthly allowance for other possible Bombers to cool their temper….Hmmmmm? America simply sent their Law Enforcement Agencies, paid with tax payers money and they did what they are paid and trained to do….bring the criminals to Justice! In just 4days.(y) I think our Federal Government should set up a ‘committee’ to look into American Government to stop making ‘Us’ look like we don’t know how to fight Terrorism.

President Jonathan Grants Amnesty To Boko Haram Sect

If this should happen I find it very troubling. Its just setting a very bad precedent. Indications emerged last night that President Goodluck Jonathan may have resolved to declare amnesty for the Boko Haram sect.
This was the outcome of a meeting between the president and the leadership of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) at the presidential villa, Abuja.

This is even as Jonathan has summoned a security meeting with chiefs in the country, which will be held today at the presidential villa.

Jonathan also used the occasion to deny ever ruling out amnesty for the sect.

The president is expected to set up an amnesty commission to fine- tune details of clemency to the sect members.

Northern Imams Supports Amnesty For Boko Haram

Northern of Imams in North-Central zone of Nigeria on Tuesday expressed support for amnesty for the Boko Haram sect to reduce the surge of violence in the northern region.

This is contained in a communique signed by the forum’s Protem Chairman, Sheikh Umar Faruk. It urged the Federal Government to listen to suggestions on the matter by drawing up amnesty for the sect members. The league, however, condemned the killing of innocent people across the northern region by members of the sect. It described the sect’s act as anti-Islam, barbaric and counterproductive.

“The forum condemns all forms of violence and killing of innocent souls across the country on daily basis by any group.’’

“No religion preaches manslaughter, bloodshed and killing of fellow human beings on earth without recourse to court process.” The league also called on the authorities to end the arbitrary arrest, intimidation and extra-judicial killings of innocent religious leaders in its fight against the insurgents.
It also wants the government to strengthen shari’ah legal system and its institution, to ensure strict compliance to its provisions aimed at curbing immorality in the society. The forum condemned indecent dressing by some girls, unrestricted mixing of boys and girls in public and private schools and called for better orientation for students and education administrators.
