I know Romney is a PE guy who made lots of money, paid little taxes, and has achieved everything individual personal and professional target that a full fledged capitalist, like me, espouses.eg 20 million dollar salary a year, a nice wife, 5 sons, many homes, built many corporations......a very accomplished man indeed.
I will tell you why I like Obama
1. Obama is a perfect fit for the job of saving millions of people from mass financial meltdown - he is not about himself and his rich club of friends. If you want to make money...then make money. If you want to do development work then run for president. Case in point Abiola tried to do both and look what it brought him. Chief Sonny Odogwu never ran for president that is why he has enjoyd his money till today when he is almost 90. I do not plan to run for president....i just want to be like Romney myself (except for the Romnesia)..except for the extra children hahaha! I would however strive to have the intellectual capacity, kindness and decency of an Obama.
2. America is the most commercially important nation on earth. It cannot afford to be irresponsible and I see the republicans as arrogant, irresponsible and racist.
3. Obama, albeit a politician, is a decent human being. Romney is a guy who is used to telling people what they want to get what he wants. There is a difference.
One does the right thing through any means. One gets whatever he wants through any means. I would rather that the world, in these very turbulent times, has at least one example of a decent human being leading a great nation. Look at the rubbish going on in Nigeria (Kaduna bombing today) and South Africa (Zuma has 5 wives and both countries seem to have no real purposeful leadership)
4. Finallly the guy works extremely hard to do big things without making excuses for his shortcomings. I am a sucker for a guy who works hard, every single day!!! Consistency is golden.

Obama works extremely hard at excuses and blame. He works extremely hard at campaigning the last 4 years when being president doesn't get in the way.

DeleteIt is clear that sentiment is what the Obama campaign is counting on and you wouldn't be the only one to feel that way. If you lower your expectations for the highest office in the world what hope is there for our future.
