Any Nigerian out there who believe in the message on the picture say AYE!!!! I hear a deafening silence or my mind is playing tricks on me. Honestly I hear so much horrible news about police that I wonder if I even hear nice things anymore. I cant begin to tell all the sad stories of extra judicial killings by police over flimsy reasons most common being refusal to roger by commercial bus drivers. You go to report an incident at a police station as an eye witness and they treat you like the culprit.
The are often very trigger happy with innocent lives but Im not sure they do the same with armed robbers when you call them. Words has it that police was present during the killing of Aluu4, that they sanctioned the burning. Latest is the killing of sales girl in Abuja. Im sure alot criminal and irresponsible acts goes unnoticed.
What annoys me the most is the fact more often than not they all go scot-free leaving untold agony and grief with family, friends and lovers of their victims.
The police that is supposed to serve and protect often times do the exact opposite. I believe if they are PUNISHED accordingly for all these lawlessness others will learn. Kudos to any good policeman or woman.
