Shehu Sani Accuses Maku, Clark, Dokubo of Blackmailing The North

Kaduna-based activist, Shehu Sani, yesterday, warned Information Minister, Mr. Labaran Maku, to desist from blackmailing the North for his selfish interest.
Similarly, the social critic lambasted the leader of Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Asari Dokubo, and Chief Edwin Clark, for launching what he described as an orchestrated campaign of calumny against the North.
Sani, who is the leader of the Civil Rights Congress, however, asked Nigerians to ignore the antics of the three men, who he described as people looking for relevance in the current precarious situation in the country with a view to gaining undeserved relevance.

The trio incurred the wrath of the activist because of what Sani described as inflammatory and anti-North statements credited to them in the media in recent days.
Maku had at a public event in Abuja claimed that the current crisis in the north might drag the country backward unless the people embrace immediate dialogue.
Before then, both Dokubo and Clark had accused northern leaders of not doing enough to checkmate the Boko Haram scourge, thereby threatening the stability of the present administration
