It
was indeed a sad day for people who witnessed the accident that
occurred at around 4:01pm today along Enugu-Onitsha expressway. It was
gathered that a trailer conveying unknown goods to Onitsha was the cause
of the accident. The trailer’s brake failed and killed four people at
the spot. It also damaged 21 vehicles in the process. a trailer lost its brakes at Unizik Junction Awka, Anambra state and rammed into people at the junction.. Anybody that knows Unizik junction very well knows that its always a
beehive of activities.A motorcyclist,
hawker and a child beggar were among the four people that died, while
the vehicles that were damaged were mostly commercial buses and some
private ones too. ...May the souls of the dead Rest In Peace Amen. Very disturbing pictures of the victims.
This is so so terrible. Lord have mercy. May their soul rest in perfect peace. The authorities in charge take measures to ensure this uglu incident doesnt repeat itself.
