US Accident Investigators Arrive in Nigeria for Dana Crash

The Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, Accident Investigation Bureau, Capt. Muktar Usman told newsmen yesterday that a team of accident investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board in the US has arrived Nigeria to be part of the ongoing investigation of Dana Air plane crash that killed 153 people on board and over 10 people on ground at Iju-Ishaga in Lagos on Sunday June 3rd.

When I heard that the black box was flown abroad for analysis, I felt disappointed for Nigeria. Giant of Africa yet we dont have the facility to analyze a black box.  Now U.S accident investigators are flown in to investigate the crash. Oh well I guess they couldnt fly the dana crash site abroad for investigation.
