Lady Gaga became the first person to pass 25 million followers on Twitter earlier today, and immediately tweeted her gratitude to fans.

'#25milliontweetymonsters wow! I'm officially feeling like the luckiest girl in the world today,' she wrote.  The 26-year-old singer has more than two and a half million followers more than her nearest competitor, Justin Bieber, who has 22.5 million.
