Yimiton got married to the man of her dreams on the first Saturday of 2013. For those of you who didn't know, her name is Tonia and she married Tony who is a man after God's heart. 

It was a beautiful event, the Priest said a wonderful sermon, the choristers played beautifully, the church was lively and the day felt generally beautiful and ordained by God Himself.

The most beautiful part of the ceremony was when they exchanged the vows; looking into each other's eyes.

Im sure she loved every moment of that wedding and as she basked in the euphoria of being a new bride heading off for her honeymoon tomorrow, I'll fill your eyes with some of the our beautiful wedding pictures.

Tragedy: Wedding Turns To Mourning As A Car Accident Kills Bride On Her Way To The Church

On a day that was supposed to be perhaps her best day on Earth, reverse was the case for Miss Bisioye Adegbite, whose gentle soul was snatched away by the cold hands of death on her wedding day.According to reports, efforts of the supposed bride were ended in a ghastly motor accident shortly after she left home in a convoy of exotic cars for her church wedding somewhere in Ikeja, Lagos.

She was the only occupant of the car who died in the accident. According to the source, it was like a dream to the groom who was waiting anxiously for her arrival in order for them to begin the solemnization of their marriage in the church under the watchful eyes of their family members, friends and well wishers only to be told that the love of his life had been hijacked by the icy hands of death. 

The man thought he was dreaming until he rushed to the hospital where he was shown the battered corpse of his darling bride by the doctor and broke down in tears uncontrollably.

The late Adegbite, 25, until her death was a final year student of Industrial Relation at the University of Cotonou, Benin Republic, she had since being interred.

Wedding Best-man Arrested By Newly Wed Couple Over Wedding Suit

A newly married woman, Mrs. Ify Anyanwu has arrested and charged to a Lagos court her husband’s bestman, Chris Abasuonu for assaulting her when she demanded the suit he wore as her husband’s bestman during their wedding. The 31- year old Chris was charged before Apapa Magistrate’s court where he was remanded in prison custody. Trouble started between the couple and Chris on their wedding day when Chris started demanding N11,000 from Ify’s husband, saying that was the amount he spent on sewing his suit for the wedding.

When the woman heard it, she felt embarrassed and shocked over Chris’ attitude just as the couple was settling down after the wedding. She reportedly gave him the money and asked him to return the suit since he had collected the money. Though Chris said he collected the money, he did not return the suit. According to Ify, after the wedding, Chris started telling neighbours that her husband borrowed money for their wedding.

She said after waiting in vain for him to return it, she went to his house at 74, Yaya Crescent, Olodi Apapa, Lagos to collect it. Ify said when she knocked and entered his room and told him her mission, he locked her inside his room and held her neck and pushed her to the wall. She said she started shouting for help before their neighbours intervened. In his defence, Chris told said that he had an agreement with Ify’s husband that he will pay him the money after the wedding. He said he only demanded his money before the wife got angry and came to his house to demand for the suit.

The action of Chris landed him in court where he is facing a three-count charge of assault, false imprisonment and stealing. The offences he committed are contrary to Sections 166, 171 and 285 of the Criminal Code Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011. After he pleaded not guilty, the Magistrate, Mrs. A. K. Shonubi, granted him bail in the sum of N30,000 with one surety in like sum.

The matter was adjourned till 25 September, 2012, while Chris was remanded in prison custody until he meets his bail condition.
