“If Madrid Beat Dortmund And Qualify, I Will Let My Girlfriend Sleep With Them” – Balotelli

“If Madrid Beat Dortmund And Qualify, I Will Let My Girlfriend Sleep With Them” – Balotelli

Mad Mario Balotelli might have condemned himself to the doghouse with girlfriend Fanny Neguesha after he reportedly made a bizarre comment about the Belgian model ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

The former Manchester City striker is apparently so confident that Dortmund will qualify for the Champions League final, he is claimed to have said that he would allow the Spanish side’s squad to sleep with his girlfriend if they managed to upset the odds and pip the Germans to Wembley.

In Spanish newspapers AS and Marca, the Italy international was quoted as saying: ‘If Real Madrid come back in Champions League, I’ll let my girlfriend sleep with them!’ Well Real Madrid should line and sharpen their tool or strap up and Fanny Neguesha should hold something cuz the ride is about to get bumpy lol!

Dortmund ran Real off the park a week ago at the Westfalenstadion, with Robert Lewandowski, Mario Gotze and Marco Reus tearing a flimsy-looking defence apart. Manchester United and Bayern Munich target Lewandowski netted all four goals in the 4-1 victory for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored Real’s only goal of the night, missed the Madrid derby clash against Atletico at the weekend and remains a fitness doubt for Tuesday’s encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu. Meanwhile, Balotelli, apart from making controversial comments about his girlfriend, is lighting up the Serie A since leaving Manchester for AC Milan.

The 22-year-old has scored 10 times since leaving the Premier League, including a contentious penalty in last night’s victory over Catania.

Balotelli has previously spoken about his blossoming relationship with Neguesha. In an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, the striker said his girlfriend was the ‘first woman I feel comfortable with’.

Jose Mourinho Finally Accepts Chelsea Manager Job

Jose Mourinho Finally Accepts Chelsea Manager Job
You can now breathe. The wait is over.  After months of speculation, Jose Mourinho has agreed to return to the Chelsea hot-seat next season according to the Daily Star.
And the current Real Madrid manager has already drawn up a list of transfer targets to help the Blues return to the top of the Premier League – headlined by strikers Hulk and Radamel Falcao.

According to the reports, Mourinho will return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season on a salary that more than matches his current £12 million-a-year package at Madrid. But the 50-year-old realises Chelsea need some extra firepower to compete against the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and emerging powerhouse Tottenham.

Mourinho is a big admirer of Hulk while Atletico Madrid’s Radamel Falcao has long been rumoured with a move to London.

The news may just reinforce Romelu Lukaku’s desire to seek another loan move away from the club next season, with the Mirror reporting the teenager, currently plying his trade with West Brom, has asked Blues officials to secure him another stint in the Premier League. And with European football on his mind, a move to the Capital One champions, Swansea, is on the cards.

Mario Balotelli And Club Manager Fight During Training

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini and player Mario Balotelli were involved in a public training ground bust-up this morning at the club’s Carrington base, and it was all captured on camera. Mancini was said to have reacted angrily to a challenge by Balotelli on another Man City player, Scott Sinclair at the club's training ground.

Mancini confronted Balottelli about the mistimed tackle on Scott and before anyone could stop it, The City boss was grabbing and shoving the striker, asking him to leave the training ground.

Mancini and Balotelli had to be separated by club staff. The pair left Carrington shortly after.

I often wonder how the coach manages to get along that guy.

Osaze Reveals Why He Blasted Keshi And Apologises

In a classic shoot first and ask questions later, the West Bromwich Albion striker, Osaze Odemwingie, has attributed his recent outburst against the Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi, to anger arising from a feeling of betrayal by the coach.

Odemwingie had, at the wake of the release of the team list for AFCON 2013, taken to twitter to make some disparaging comments against the Super Eagles gaffer and the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
The out of favour Super Eagles striker also called the chairman of the NFF Technical Committee, Chris Green, ‘names’ over his exclusion from the AFCON squad.

The England based forward has now said he made statements, which were made in a fit of anger, after he had made it known to his coach and colleagues that he was set to travel for the January 2013 Nations Cup in South Africa.

In an interview with selected Nigerian journalists, the West Bromwich Albion striker admitted making some of the comments credited to him, but was also quick to make some clarifications on calling Green ‘names,’ saying he was only bitter about his exclusion.
He described Green as a good man and one of the few on the NFF board, alongside the President, Aminu Maigari, whomhe knows personally and would not want to offend; though his anger has portrayed him to be at ‘war with everybody’.

”I remember it was Green that settled my case with Siasia then ,but I was too angry when he called me over this matter, and was impatient to listen to him, and my comment was not directed to him personally but to those who made the decision. But I think I over reacted then,” Osaze said.

On his face-off with Keshi, the former Locomotive Moscow forward revealed that “I called the coach two or three times within that period ,maybe two or three days before the list was made public and told him of my commitment to be part of the Nations Cup, and have toldmy coach I will be going to the Nations Cup.”

According to him, “I told the coach I was ready to report to camp by January 3rd, even before other professionals start reporting to camp, if I was in his programme for the Nations Cup; and even told himto feel free to drop me if I was not in his programme.

“I felt betrayed after that seeming heart-to-heart discussions with the coach few days to the release of the team list and he could not hint me I was not in his plan for the Nations Cup. For me it was not professional and I considered it a betrayal and lost my cool given all the arrangements I had made towards the Nations Cup,” he said.

Odemwingie also revealed that he felt pained and miffed by “some comments on why I was dropped ranging from being arrogant to asking for the captain’s band; and I concluded the federation wanted to freeze me out of the national team after ten years of serving the country with commitment and dedication”

“I don’t mind being asked to give the younger ones a chance ,even though I still have five years to offer at the international level, but I only think it would be proper to be honourably pulled out of the national team and not ‘disgraced’ out of the team after years of dedicated service to Nigeria,” he said.

The West Brom star argued that though his international career is over in the light of these controversies, which he noted “were unfortunate and regrettable,” he believes “there is need to correct somewrong impressions out there that I am always fighting with every coach,”
“But what people don’t know isthat my issues with all the coaches from Samson Siasia toLars Lagerback and now Keshi had to do with purely football matters, not administrative or asking for more money for players.

“My case with coach Siasia dates back to the 2008 Olympics, and had to do with insufficient jerseys and all that; with Lagerback it had to do with how I was treated and Ivoiced it to him personally at the World Cup, and now being treated unfairly.

“Imagine talking with someone two to three times over an issue and few days later you begin to hear a different story from the person, who was in a person to tell you point blank, ‘you are not in my plan for this,” he said.

The versatile forward concluded by saying “I am human and open to error by the way I may have taken the issue, and regret the whole controversy, and want to put all this behind me now and focus on my club career, while wishing the team the best of luck as a Nigerian.”

Russian Side Offered "£205m" For Messi - El Mundo Deportivo

Russian Side Offered "£205m" For Messi - El Mundo Deportivo
Are you kidding me? That figure is awesome. An unnamed Russian club triggered Lionel Messi's automatic release clause with a staggering €250m (£205m) bid for the Barcelona star, a report claims. Spanish sports daily El Mundo Deportivo reports that the club agreed to pay more than double the world record transfer fee, and offered the Argentine a €30m (£24.6m) annual pay packet after tax.

Once that sum was offered Barcelona were contractually obliged to accept it - but from that point it was up to the player whether he was interested in leaving the club. The bid came during Messi's recent contract negotiations with Barcelona.

However, the 25-year-old rejected the move and signed a two-year extension with Barça that ties him to the Camp Nou until 2018. Although the club was not named it is likely to have been Anzhi Makachkala, who are owned by billionaire Suleyman Kerimov.

In 2011 Anzhi signed former Barça striker Samuel Eto'o, making him the highest-paid player in world football. El Mundo Deportivo said Messi rejected the Russian move because of his desire to continue winning titles at Barcelona.

He scored a record 91 goals in 2012 and is expected to win his fourth consecutive Ballon d'Or. Neither is Messi short of cash - in March it was revealed he earns £27m per year, topping up his £13m salary with sponsorships and endorsements.

Every player in Spanish football must have a minimum fee release clause in their contract. Cristiano Ronaldo's is the highest, standing at €1bn (£800m)

Keshi Reveals He Dropped Osaze Because Osaze Wanted To Captain Super Eagles

Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has dropped a bombshell by saying Osaze Odemwingie had proposed himself as team captain. Keshi told a stunned Nigeria Football Federation technical committee that the West Bromwich Albion striker put himself forward to be the Eagles skipper.

“He told them that he wants to be captain as he considers himself one of the most senior players in the current squad,” an official revealed.

“But how he has behaved in the national team over the years has really run counter to his ambition to be the leader of this team. You can only lead by example.”

The 31-year-old Osaze made his Eagles debut in 2002, but it was not until the 2004 Nations Cup that he established himself in the national team. Goalkeepers Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide as well as defender and present skipper Joseph Yobo are older than Osaze in the Eagles.

However, he has rowed with national team bosses, from Austin Eguavoen to Lars Lagerback, and his clash with Samson Siasia was widely regarded as one of the problems that caused Nigeria to sensationally fail to qualify for the 2012 Nations Cup.

It is such poor attitude that has now denied him a fifth Nations Cup appearance.

In the meantime, the Eagles coach has said he wishes to run the rule over shock invitee Rabiu Ibrahim who has failed to establish himself at Celtic. Ibrahim has only managed a handful of games in his second season at Celtic Park and has yet to be capped by Nigeria at full international.

“Keshi said he has watched Rabiu in a couple of cup games and will want to have a closer look at the midfielder in Faro, Portugal,”

Some top officials also took an exception to the continued invitation of Italy-based midfielder Obiora Nwankwo, saying he is sluggish and brings very little to the team.

However, Keshi stood by his decision, insisting that the Olympic team skipper is tactically disciplined.

Messi Breaks Previous Record To Become Worlds Greatest Football Goal Scorer In History

Messi Breaks Previous Record To Become Worlds Greatest Football Goal Scorer In HistoryAnd he keeps breaking the football records. Half man, half machine. Half amazing, half goal scorer, full Messi. It's official: Rare genius, Rare Talent!!! Lionel Messi is now the greatest goals corer the game has even seen - and probably the finest footballer in history, too. We have never seen his like before - and we may never witness such a tremendous talent again.

Luckily, Leo is only 25 and is set to be around for some time to come yet. Last Thursday, the astonishing Argentine was nominated for his fourth successive Ballon d'Or. Nobody in history has achieved that, but Messi is used to surpassing such marks, milestones and merits.

Lionel Messi on Sunday night, set a new record of 86 goals in a calendar year after surpassing Gerd Muller's record of 85 strikes in Seville. The Barcelona man achieved the feat with two fine strikes in the first half an hour against Betis, meaning he has notched up the tally of 86 in 66 games

It took Muller just 60 appearances to set the previous record in 1972.

The Argentine started 2012 with two goals against Osasuna in the Copa del Rey, and regularly notched up doubles and trebles throughout the year for both club and country. He scored exactly two goals on 20 occasions, and at least three strikes nine times, including a five-goal haul against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

Muller hit 42 Bundesliga goals in 34 outings to fire Bayern Munich to the German title in 1971-72 and eventually 1972-73, and he also played an integral role in West Germany's European Championship victory. He scored five goals in the four finals games it took die Mannschaft to lift the trophy under the old format.

Muller was also boosted by Bayern's run of 21 matches in 37 days during the traditional pre-season period. Due to the summer Olympics that year, the German domestic football season was pushed back until September 16, so a new competition - the DFB-Ligapokal (League Cup) - was hastily introduced to ward off rustiness.

Muller scored 12 goals in five games in that maiden campaign, while he scored 10 goals against Galatasaray and Omonia Nicosia in the opening stages of the old European Cup.

32 Yrs Old Man Stabbed To Death Over Man City/Chelsea Match

32 Yrs Old Man Stabbed To Death Over Man City/Chelsea Match
People can really be so boko "haramish" about football, it beats me how they can be that retarded, braindead, stupid, imbecile, any-ugly-adjective-you-can-think-of, etc. They say its passion, I say its bullshit.

Mr. Otumala Ukama Benson, a 32-year-old, a native of Benue State, was killed on sunday, over a misunderstanding during English Premiership League, EPL, clash between Chelsea and Manchester City football clubs. Two suspects identified as Kayode Ogunwa and Oluwa Femi, are currently cooling their heels at the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos, following the death of the hotel attendant

The incident happened at one of the popular hotels (name withheld), along Isheri- LASU- Igando Road, near Diamond Estate. T
he suspects reside at Diamond Estate, opposite the hotel and drove there to watch the match. On the fateful day, the hotel was filled to capacity and some customers who wanted to buy drinks could not get chairs to sit.
This prompted the late Ben to ask those watching the match without buying drinks to get up and allow those willing to buy drinks to be  seated. The suspects who did not buy drinks refused to vacate their chairs and this resulted in an argument between them and the late Ben. The argument later degenerated into a brawl during which one of the suspects ran to the car and brought a knife with which he stabbed Ben in the neck.

The hotel attendant, investigations revealed, bled to death from his wound before he could be rushed to the Igando General Hospital. His body was later deposited at the Ikeja General Hospital mortuary for autopsy. The “Area M” Command, later transferred the case to SCID, Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.

An eyewitness, who is also one of the managers in the hotel, narrated the ugly incident to Vanguard Metro thus: “Ben was carrying out the instruction of the management that anyone who was not buying drinks should not use the Executive bar but could make use of the general bar.

“I learnt that this infuriated one of the guys who went after Ben for daring to ask him get up from his seat. He dealt some blows on Ben and in defense Ben pushed him away and took to his heels sensing that the clash might degenerate into a serious fight. But the guy in anger smashed a glass door with his foot and in the process sustained injury on the leg with blood dripping from the cut.

“A guy from the group seeing blood dripping from his friend’s leg went straight to his Honda car with number plate FKJ 436 AH, and emerged with a sharp knife. I tried to stop him but he threatened to stab me if I did not move away. I could see the determination to kill in his eyes, so I quickly stepped aside thinking Ben was still in hiding but not knowing that he had reappeared.

“Ben was being held by the other members of the group who were asking him how their friend got his leg wound. At that point Ben was backing the guy with the knife and the guy went straight for Ben’s neck, stabbing him so deep that blood started gushing out like tap water.

Ben screamed immediately, holding his neck and trying vainly to staunch the flow of blood. Failing to stop the bleeding, he ran outside the gate seeking for help. At this stage, the guy who stabbed him, realising the gravity of his crime, started saying he didn’t mean to stab Ben so deep.

“I ran after Ben and soon caught up with him; but he slumped into my hands, saying, ‘I am going to die’. I assured him that he would not die as I was taking him to the hospital. We rushed him to Igando General Hospital where he was pronounced Brought In Dead, BID, that is dead on arrival. The Police were later contacted and the suspects were arrested and detained.

“We have contacted the families of Ben, they are on their way to Lagos to pick the corpse for burial in his home town.”

Football, International Friendly: Nigeria Beats Venezuela 3 - 1

The Super Eagles in the early hours of today defeated the national team of Venezuela by 3-1.

Nigeria started the match against Venezuela in a 4-3-3 formation with Obafemi Martins, Brown Ideye and Bright Dike as fowards. While Newcastle striker Shola Amoebi finally got his Nigerian debut.

The first minutes on the dry Marlins Park pitch saw the players trying to adjust to the bounce of the ball with the Venezuelans settling the quicker. Ejike in the second minute tried to jiggle his way past defenders in the box but conceded a free kick. Juan Arango almost found Salomon Rondon in the fifth minute which saw the Super Eagles defence exposed with just one pass.

The midfield trident of Ogenyi Onazi, Nosa Igiebor and Henry Uche were not well coordinated in the early part of the match with Onazi hitting too many short passes that put his mates in trouble. Igiebor was good on the ball and in the seventh minute released Ideye but the Dynamo Moscow striker saw his shot well gathered.

The Venezuelans thought they had scored the opener in the 14th minute off a free kick by Arango but the referee rightly adjudged that some Venezuelan players had strayed into offside positions.
Nigeria got a corner kick in the 20th minute that was taken by Solomon Kwambe but missed all his targets.

The Venezuelans were catching the Eagles defence with just one pass from midfield – Arango to Rondon and if not for the quick intervention of stand-in captain, Austin Ejide, the Eagles may have gone down to some goals. A Rivas shot was deflected for a corner kick in the 25th minute while another good cross from Arango slightly eludes Rondon again.

The Eagles could have taken the lead in the 28th minute when Igiebor burst forward from midfield but his pas to Martins was a tad heavy with the Levante striker in good shooting position. Henry Uche had to make way in the 33rd minute after he had been on the end of some heavy challenges and was replaced by Raheem Lawal. Martins had a shot on the turn in the 41st minute but it went wide.

The first half ended with the Eagles having the better of possession but the Venezuelans had the more goal scoring chances.

In the second half, the Eagles flew out of the blocks and scored the opening goal in the 47 minute through Ideye. A move started on the right by Igiebor saw Kwambe deliver a low cross into the box which was tapped in by the Dynamo Moscow striker for his first goal for the national team.
Igiebor followed that with a spectacular 40-yard shot in the 53rdminute that beat Hernandez in goal for Venezuela all ends up.

The South Americans reacted after these setbacks but were let back into the game when an otherwise steady Oboabona gave possession to Arango, who in turn fed Frank Veltra, who placed a low shot past Ejide.

Arango now led the charge for the equaliser and they had series of corner kicks but the Nigerian defence held firm. Shola Ameobi replaced Martins in the 61 minute – the Newcastle man making his international debut for Nigeria.

They could have gotten their equaliser in the 84thminute after another careless giveaway. Lawal was caught in possession near the box but Ejide made a good save with his leg to concede a corner kick.
There were unsavoury scenes in the closing stage of the match when Igiebor took his time getting substituted for which he was shown a yellow card. Onazi settled the affair in added time as he swept in a low shot after Ameobi has passed to him in the box to make it 3-1 to the Nigerian team.

Coach Stephen Keshi will have been very pleased with the performances of some of the players but some did not cover themselves in any glory.
