Lucky little lady: Baby Charlotte McVey, seen with mother Emma Gerrard, was born at 12.12pm on 12. 12. 12 at Whiston Hospital on Merseyside
This adorable baby might just be the luckiest little girl in the world. Tiny Charlotte McVey was welcomed into the world at exactly 12.12pm on 12. 12. 12. Many cultures believe that a baby born on the auspicious date will go on to lead a life of prosperity

If the claim of astrologers is anything to go by then this baby, Charlotte is one heck of a lucky girl.
Astrologers claim the qualities of the planet Jupiter will be bestowed on babies born on or after 12.12pm on the date, meaning baby Charlotte should look forward to a life filled with good luck.

Her father Jay McVey admitted he was clock-watching as his partner Emma Gerrard went into theatre to have a Caesarean section performed, and the 32-year-old compared holding his first child with 'lifting the World Cup'. Charlotte's mother said the procedure at Whiston Hospital on Merseyside had been planned in advance, but not because of the lucky date.

'I only discovered she had been born at 12 minutes past 12 shortly after when Jay told me,' she said.

'When we were waiting to go in we were joking about Charlotte being born at 12.12pm but never thought it would happen in a million years. Charlotte's a little superstar already,' she added.

At exactly the same time as Charlotte was being born in Liverpool, baby Oliver Talmage made an appearance at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, Essex.

Joy: Father Jay McVey described holding his daughter for the first time as 'like lifting the World Cup'

12-12-12! What Is It To You?

I wanna do something significant today just to remember the unique date, I like this date, 12-12-12.
It’s the century’s last sequential date. For some, it represents luck. For others, it’s a day of romance. For most of us, it’s just another Wednesday. Regardless of your beliefs, 12/12/12 comes along with some rather amusing facts and superstitions.

The date, with a repeating number, is so magical in its rhyme this generation will never come across it again, in this life cycle. The world has had similar magical dates since 2001, when we opened the year with 1-1-1. The following year, we had 2-2-2 in February and the third year 3-3-3 in March 2003.

The year 2004 also produced 4-4-4 in April. While May of 2005 also gave 5-5-5.

In 2006, it was 6-6-6. And so the other years have churned out the special dates: 7-7-7, 8-8-8, 9-9-9, 10-10-10 and 11-11-11. And now 12-12-12.

It is the 12th day of the last month of 2012.

The date is not to be confused with 12-21-12, the rumoured date said to be the terminal end of our world, according to the Mayan ancient calendar.

So what does 12-12-12 mean other than being another date like its successor, 13-12-12 or its predecessor that reigned today 11-12-12? Well, we agree, in one respect that it means something: it is the last time for almost a century when the day, year and month will come in a synchrony.

In the United Arab Emirates, mothers have taken special significance of the day. The City Hospital in Abu Dhabi that normally delivers four babies by Cesarean section daily. Tomorrow, seven mothers want their babies born.

Self-acclaimed mystics have also been ascribing some symbolisms to this special date, if you believe in them. And thousands of marriages we learnt, have also been scheduled for this day. Girls surely like iconic days.

Do you believe in the uniqueness or any special attachment to these days with unique numbers? Or 12-12-12 is just another day on the calendar?
